Visually Curing projects ? - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

First I use an IR to do my curing. I notice that the powder will start to "sweat" after about 7 minutes or so. My IR temp gauge says that the surface temp is about 300F (thats about the max it ever is). The powder appears at full gloss at about 12 minutes.

Obviously these times and temps are way less than oven baking at 450F for 15 minutes. So my question really is after the project is glossy how long do you wait ?

I did some heavier objects and noticed that it took much longer to gloss.

Tips ?

The 15min recommendation you are referring to is after flow out. Not 15min total. If your getting 300F then bake 20 to 30 min. after full gloss to ensure full cure.
