First I use an IR to do my curing. I notice that the powder will start to "sweat" after about 7 minutes or so. My IR temp gauge says that the surface temp is about 300F (thats about the max it ever is). The powder appears at full gloss at about 12 minutes.
Obviously these times and temps are way less than oven baking at 450F for 15 minutes. So my question really is after the project is glossy how long do you wait ? I did some heavier objects and noticed that it took much longer to gloss. Tips ? TIA |
