Will clear powdercoat dull a polished finish?

I have read about the clear top coat dulling the chrome PC finishes, but I am wondering if it will do the same thing to a bright, highly-polished aluminum part? Anyone have any experience with this?

Very little dulling to aluminum. it is the best thing to put on it i think.

I've done lots of polish parts for motorcycles

i clear it one time and i got a cloud look to the metal ... but i used a high gloss urathane on it with no problem
