Has anyone powder coated any motorcycle coils. My harley has dual plug heads so I am running 2 coils which are exposed,They are dyna coils and are an ugly brown.I just baked an old one at 400 for 20 min and the outside survived the heat.Just wondering about the internals. Also I am looking for someone to PC my front and rear fender as my oven isn't big enough.Black base with aquamarine illusion. If anyone out there can handle this please let me know with price. They will be bare metal.
Thanks |

Don't those coils have oil in them? I don't think I would take a chance putting a coil in the oven like that. Even if they don't have oil in them I would think the varnish would melt off the windings, and short the coils out.
