Two quick questions

First. I have a pretty good size toaster oven for smaller parts, can you hang parts from the overhead heating elements? Second, Instead of buying an air compressor I was going to use a 10 gallon air tank with regulator from sears and just charge with air at my inlaws house where he has a good size copressor. How long will the air (125psi) last with that tank. The manufacter says the gun needs only 8psi at .5 cfm. It seems like the tank can last a while with this setting but Im not sure.

Any help would be great!

The tank will work fine for small parts and low volume.As for the parts hanging, I don't recommend hanging parts from heating elements.

Hi Sport,

I use my toaster oven as my main oven as I do more small parts.
I tipped mine up on its side, drilled a hole, used a coat hanger to make the hook and on top a handle to turn the parts while curing..

WORKS BAD A$$

JUST DONT, hook the heater elements......

Here is my NuBee setup with pics below if it but it works great till I upgrade for my larger parts.

Here is my spray booth, CAUTION, I have a dual exhaust fan in the window next to the box for spraying just in case of overspray.
I also use the shop vac as the box internal powder control. It hooks on top rear and hose is just visible, under it is a 3-layer filter you can get at Home Depot or equiv. to block bulk powder and my vac filter is always clogged with the super fine sawdust as I hook it into most of my wood tools as dust collection, but NEVER until cleaning after powdering first...

The Box has a metal pan on the bottom, grounded for reclaiming powder, and the red rosin paper so powder falling down during spraying does not just flow out on me and the floor...

My oven is just an old toaster oven, set on its side, hole drilled for the hook, and presto, small parts oven, saves electricity too...

Do you have any pic's of part's you did with this setup? That all reminds me of the good old days when I started ...
