I have tried the ceramic coating , but I must have done something wrong . It was very hard to polish with 0000 steel wool, I tried a few things different but no luck. Anybody started out with the same problem.

that can happend if you apply it to a hot surface , you'll end up with a sand looking coating wich simply will not polish .
you'll need to blast it and start again

what do you mean by "it didn't look to good"
still got the bad surface like the first time ?
after you polish with steel wool you will get a smooth silver looking surface then you polish with wheels

After it cooled it looks shiny in spots and other spots it looks and fills like fine sandpaper. But it is very hard to polish with steel wool and tuff to sandblast off. Could i be spraying to much on?

So it can be polished out without having to use a vibratory tumbler? That was the one problem I was concerned about in trying it, that the tumbler set-up for something as big as a set of headers would be VERY costly just to try the product and see how it would perform for me.

Default Cerakote

Do you cure the first cote, let it air dry, or total bake.
Pitted is what I am getting after final cure but that is on aluminum so I don't know if that is the culprit. I need to get a real smooth surface. who is using what to prep for using ceramics for anice smooth surface? Tired of wasting moneu.

I spray on a first coat and let it air dry (or use a heat gun to dry it) then I spray a second coat and after that is dry I put it in the oven. This was on a steel.
