for those that had some doubts about it ( like me )
here are some pictures of a header I made today
it came out incredibly great
it looks 10 times better in person
I polish it with 0000 steel wool and loose wheel and white compound
I don't know how to post pics so here are the links

I have read the directions and was wondering this...I can not fit a set of long tube headers in an oven let alone bake them between 500 and 700. It says it air drys in 24hrs could I cure a set on a running engine or would that be to hot?

it may cure that way... you may be able to rig a heat gun on high in to the outlet and let it flow out one of the runner's ...

the first time I did ceramic I only had a stove oven wich measures like 3x2 or so and the header didn't fit
so I left the oven door open and build an extention to the oven with 1" kanauf insulation ( ibelive it was called that ) set the oven to it's higgest setting and it worked at 500 for 1 hour

Visit www.hyperkote.com and look at their site. The Tech line coatings is the same stuff he uses. I visited the shop and saw his supplies and that is how I found the name. OF course his were big 1, 2, & 5 gallon jugs! but that is his living.
