Default Proper cure times

I have been powder coating for a few months. I have always cured as per the label instructions (I have tried a couple different kinds of powder.) I have always had good results but I keep reading where people are curing differently (hotter, cooler, longer, etc.) Is there any way to really know if you are curing properly? Can you "burn" powder coating, like a cake if you leave it in the over too long? I have had batches that were in the oven for about 10-15 minutes to long and I could not tell any difference in the results. Is over curing better than under curing, or are both just as bad?

I think it depends on the powder but it’s a lot easier to under cure than over cure. Most of the powders are pretty tolerant to over curing. Clear doesn’t like to be over cured
I usually pre heat the oven to temperature… load the parts in the oven and wait till it hits temperature then start timing.
