ok you bring the oven up to temp say 400. you put the part in the oven and let it pre bake for 10 minutes. My question is when you pre bake do you need to bring the Part up to the prebake temp. sure the oven is going to be 400 degrees but do you need to make sure the part is actually up to 400?

mkewl,
When curing powder, if the cure cycle required is 400 degrees for 10 minutes, that means that the PMT or part temperature needs to be at 400 degrees. Once the part reaches 400 degrees, then you would cure for a period of 10 minutes. You would need to have an infrared thermometer to determine the PMT. Jim |
