Default coating fiberglass

anyone done any fiberglass parts ?
I have a porshe fan cover and it's made out of fiberglass
would it melt or crack under 400 for atleast 15 mins .

He means paint it using a basecoat/clearcoat system. You lay down a dull basecoat that is the color, and then cover it with a clearcoat. Pretty simple system actually.

the problem would be matching it to the candy blue on the other parts of the engine

you might check the dupli-color line they have alot of nice colors to choose from, including illusion paint.

Do What I am doing, PC first them have the paint shop match the color. Most paint shops can match color samples. Some shops can also put it in a 16 oz rattle can as well.

You can get the blue mixed up (a custom color), and it will match perfectly.
I had my interior redone in my boat and when I went to get paint I took samples of the three colors into the paint shop. They took a prophet reading and the paint was right on. I think you need a 3X5 flat surface and a PPG platinum dealer.
