powder coating near propane heater?

is it safe to powder coat near propane heaters similar to an ir lamp? my garage (8'x14') is pretty cold in the winter with no heat and i wanted to buy a heater of some sort like a heater buddy or something and was just wondering if the powder overspray is dangerous. anyone do this or have any ideas? thanks randy....[/img]

i use to usee a ropane heater in my garage, just for safty i would shut it down till the dust settled.

i use propane .. i shut it down shoot what i need .. open the vent and set the fan of fast to pull the dust out of the room then start the heat again ... i am build a room in the shop that will be explosion proof
