Default Star

I lost a star by my name. I used to have 3 stars but now just got 2 stars. Why did it do that.

If used to be simply rated on the number of posts but I get the impression that this system has been adjusted. The old way would simply allow someone to spam and then get a high rating. Not that it really gains you anything.
