Default spray booths?

how do you guys clean out your spray booths so you dont get color contamination? and what are you using for a fan to keep the dust down?

randygrapes218,

I use a Blue Point Air Vacuum to clean up the bulk of powder first.

Then I wipe down my booth with a damp sponge and dry with a clean towel. I have yet to have any problems with cross-contamination. I am going to try and post pics of my ventilated booth construction to my website tonight or tomorrow.

randygrapes218,

You could also use a variation of that design to build a portable ventilated booth that could be rolled around out of the way. You could use a non-explosive shop vac as an exhaust blower. Instead of the walls as in my shop, you could use plywood, sheathing boards, etc. for the side walls and mount the whole unit on castors.

I use the trusty shop vac to clean as well as possible then blow out with an airhose.
