How do you prep aluminum for powder coating?

PRE BAKE! PRE BAKE!!! PREBAKE!!!

Clean/Degrease, PreBake, sandblast, Prebake, PC

PreBake/Outgas at least 35 Degrees higher than Powder Temp

I let it cool to about 150- 160 F. If you let it stay much higher than that the powder starts to melt while you are spraying it and makes it hard to judge how much you are putting on.

everything noob said, and I wipe down the part just befor coating with acetone..
