Default What color is closest to black oxide (parkerized)

Any idea what color is closest to black oxide or parkerization? I want to do a gur receiver, but don't want a shiny color. Any ides?

Thanks Zspider. It is kinda hard to see though. I have some matte black and high temp burner black on the way. I'll post some results.

OK, I did an AK-47 receiver cover in high temp burner black. It has the dull look of black oxide, but it is a bit textured. It's not as textured as wrinkle black. I think it will look really good on the rifle. I'll post picks of the finished rifle when it's done.

i posted a while back a pic of a the handles I do for this company....nice finish, I was thinking of doing mmy glock frame in it but just havent gotten around to it yet.....the handles are done in black jack from sherwin williams, the powder is awesome...nice look and the feel is awesome..

Yes, the texture reminds me of my Tec-9. It feels like plastic almost. Very nice. I need to get the rest of it done now, but I don't think the barrel and receiver will all fit inside the oven. I may have to cut the rivets and take it apart. Oh well, I'll figure something out.
