Default on the subject of vibratory polishers

I've seen a lot of posts here on how to make a home-made PC oven, and am just finishing up my new one. What I'd like to know now is if anyone has made a home-made large vibratory polisher big enough to handle headers, car bumpers, etc. that have been treated with ceramic chrome? Anyone got any plans/ideas/parts sources/web pages?

How well do these things polish? Will it take a sandblasted piece of steel and make it shiny, or does it only do finer work? I'd be interested in one if it would clean up castings and stuff like that. Thanks for the info!!

it will polish it to a mirror finish but it will take you like 5 diferent medias and almost 72 hours of work .
all you have to do is change it from media to media every 10-12 hours .
aluminum is alot easier and faster.
