Default SUPER CHROME ???

Finally tried my hand at powdercoating and loved it. My question is do I need the clear the super chrome? I did as per recommendation but it dulled the look too much for my taste. Would it hurt if I didn't clear the super chrome. I'm getting ready to do my intake manifold and would like to keep it as shiny as possible. Thanks for any info.

Just like custom said,(glad to see you back chuck),
you need a clear on it. The chrome pc is great but just wont last under certain conditions without the clear. Put a coat of clear on it. Find the clear with the highest gloss rating. Check to see what caswell's and go from there.

I used the clear that Caswell had listed. It was their standard clear. I didn't know they had a super mirror clear and didn't see it in their product line.

We only have one Clear.

You need to consider either:
you have applied too much powder, or there is a problem with the cure time or temp.

Post more info and I'm sure your problem will be solved here.
