Default air tanks for air ride for car

can u pc a air tank people are saying they will explode if there not plugged how will they explode its for my truck

You should have no problems powder coating a metal air tank as long as you have the fittings removed prior to baking.This allows the air to escape as it expands to eliminate any possibilaties of bursting. If it's an aluminum tank I would lean towards painting it. Many steal tanks on the market come powder coated when they are new with zero problems.
