I plan to do powder coating and paint cars in my garage, etc and need more ventilation instead of just three fans blowing air in and out of my garage.

One more thing I forgot to ask... Where can I get blower motors that are over 2 HP that will do good to ventilate a big spray booth for powder coating and then what should I use to ventilate my oven? I looked at blowers on one site and they are like 250 bucks and in the 200 range. I would like to try and find something in the 50 dollar range if possible.

two hp fan is a couple thousand cfm at least do you have any idea what your talking about? if your seriuos give some details at what your really up to. with that you can ventilate ablast room thats what i use. harbor feight has dust collection system that works real well 1hp and two hp 89$ and 225$ comes with the whole system but they probably sell it seperated.

Thanks for the info, that is why I posted here and asked because I don't know how powerful a 2HP blower is. So you say Harbor Freight has a setup? If so then what one should I use for the oven and which one for the spray booth?
I need to make sure I have a lot of ventilation here because I am doing this under my crawl space which is not too big but tall as hell but I don't need that stuff going through in insulation in the floor and into the house.

this is not really a issue but a bathroom fan very cheap and a furnace filter may wirk for you? have you coated before there are some other ways to do this like ashop vac with afilter and water in it works well for small quik jobs. just leave it running where you are coating and let it suck the air clean. dont re invent the wheel there are lots of postings on what you are doing. search for them read up on it and coat something and see what you really need.

The Harbor freight dust collector is a good idea! Catalog lists 3, ranging from a 1 hp, 914 cfm for $159 to a 2 hp 1600 cfm unit for $229.

Another idea is to get a used blower from a typical house oil or gas furnace. They typically move 1500-2000 cfm with a 1/3 to 1/2 hp motor. Stop by your local heating/air conditioning shop.....they may let you take a few from their scrap pile.

You can visit the local A/C and heating service company and get their old furnaces or heat pumps that they haul to the dump.I've found some very large blowers that way. My whole shop filter is a large box that I use as a work bench combo with a large 1 HP squirrel cage fan inside.I put it on wheels so I can roll it to the door with the exhaust side pointing out to vent the shop.Filters on the other end for catching powder and dust.I've also converted an old display case from a grocery store found at the dump into a nice 6 ft. long blasting cabinet.....cost? 0 $.Most of the time the heating guys are happy to have someone haul off their junk for free.Electric furnaces will supply you with great heating element collections complete with relays and thermal cutouts.
