SO would I be able to Run 4 x 2585W elements on a 30 Amp ro should I up it to 50 Amp?

4-2585 watts = 10340 watts
10340watts /240 = 43.08 amps
50 amp contactor would work fine

Great info here guys.

Im about to build a electric oven. 8x8x8 or 6high and 8/8
Looking thru this post Im gona need 24,800 watts. (3100w elements.

right now I have a 8hx8wx13L oven . Its up on I beams and has 4 natral gas radient heaters under it. kinda like this guy gas fired http://www.thermalinc.com/comfort/im...aight-Tube.jpg

with gas prices goin up and up Im gona give electric a try.
Maybe more efficent gas on the next project.
