(Compressed air enters the bottom chamber of the fluid bed. The air is then forced up through an extremely fine porous polyethylene plate and into the upper chamber. Here in the upper chamber the powder is bubbed, fluffed or for a better word, fluidized by the air. (I need urgently to powder coating very small items, and it´s the only way to do). Please, be kind and email me if you can help me for the above mentioned. Thanks in advance Charles. |

Our standard powder gun will do this. It pressurizes the pot, and a couple of shakes of the gun will fluidize the powder.
This gun was made for small parts. Have you tried it?

I have done many very tiny parts in the past and have yet to come across a part that can't be sprayed. What is the parts and what's the quantity?
Unless you are talking thousands of parts it's not really worth building a fluidized bed.Even then I would build an overhead conveyor oven and still spray the parts. |
