Hey Sezer, I'm not an expert, but it should work with a 2000 and above watt infrared lamp used in a makeshift box with reflective material. I have yet to try it. I have a 1500 watt lamp and in a search on here I found members saying that 1500 isn't enough. I hope it is, but if not then one day I'll get the right wattage and have a go at it, for I plan on expanding the sizes of items I do too! Oh yeah don't forget to have a infrared laser gun for making sure of constant emps for curing. Or at least just to know the temp.

I too use a propane lamp that I purchased from another vendor. I have P/C'd 2 motorcycle frames and both turned out great. They just took a little longer to cure because of having to move the lamp around the frame and on both sides. And WAORacing is right, the I/R thermo is a must.

Depends on shape and size of object being cured. Me and a buddy powder coated a roll cage in his mustang about a month ago with the mr. heater and another little heater and heat gun. The hardest thing was he left the windsheild in and the rear side glass in. Now that was an experience. I used a few wet towels to keep the glass and body of the car from getting messed up.
