super mirror black with a super mirror clear 500+ gloss rating ... they were polished. i stripped the clear then blasted with a scat mixture then i shot the basket with a expoxy primer then shot 2 coat's of powder 1 mirror black and the other the clear .. baked at 400 for 20min. per coat and they look good. i mounted the tires the same day and on a black car they look hot...

you used primer before the powder coats ?
the heat didn't damage the primer ?

Hey customandsound, that's a kerosen heater right? Do you have any problems with any of the unburnt liquid kerosen getting blown on the parts? How many BTU's is that heater? And how big is your oven? Any other useful info you have would be great, those rims turned out excellant. The reason I'm asking so many questions is because I have a small oven built but trying to decide weather to go with propane or kerosen. I'd rather go with kerosen because it seems a lot cheaper.

Hey customandsound, that's a nice job! I can't seem to make out the oven setup or I'm just a little slow. I recently had my FIRST rim job. LOL
Glossy Black & spraypainted the centercaps too! Here's the pics:

It's fun and nice when it turns out good. It's cruel and torturous when you have to strip em after a mistake!
