Default What sand can be used to sandblast powder off aluminum wheel

I want to strip some motorcycle wheels and powder them mirror chrome. What can I use and what grit when sandblasting. This is the factory powdercoat. Thanks I assume that the mirror chrome will look better if I strip this layer right?

your gonna be blasting awhile, I would use something like jasco and let the chemical do the work, then blast it..

What should I do to make sure I dont get any reactons after using a chemical to strip. Whats the best method to clean all the chemical off the wheel before powdering? Thanks

put the part in a household oven set it on clean800f it will help remove the coating as long as you don't heat the metal above 950f you will be ok around 1000 the metal will soften up and start to distort at 1200 you better get a pot it will be in the pre metal stage
