How clean does the steel have to be before you powder coat ? and why glass bead it ?

The key to the success of any finishing job is the prep. If it's not completely clean you stand a chance of cracking, peeling, poor adhesion, and a whole host of other problems. I media blast to insure a clean textured surface for the powder to adhere to when cured.
