Awesome, thanks! I just bought a 100k kerosene heater off of ebay for 50 bucks plus 45 shipping. I have a 4 foot long X 2 foot deep X 2 foot wide, 1/8 inch metal box. I figure it's a good start, I will build a bigger one when I start powdering bigger items. Thanks for the help!

Doesn't that blow the powder right off the parts? Those things throw out some air!

My lazy initial google search found several 35k btu propane units. Would that be enough for a 3x5x2 box?

Thanks

CustomandSound already answered it, but I just got my oven ready to use and I'm about to powder something in it for the first time. The 100k kerosene forced air heater I have is going to be on the side of the box and the box is 2 1/2 feet wide and around 4 feet tall and 2 feet deep. It almost seems like it will blow the powder off but I'm about to find out today or tomm.

Yeah, I'm wanting to know how it is NOT going to blow the powder off? I mean if you mess up you can blow the powder off with your air compresser before you bake it so wouldn't that be the same as that heater blowing air?

Well, I used it, and it works great, no blowing of the powder off. I still need to seal it up better, it didn't quite get all the way to temp though. I have a tube leading into the oven like Customandsound does up there^. So that puts it a couple feet away from the oven and calms down some of the blowing of the air.
