Default Simple oven ideas?

Looking to do some powder on my scooter. Need to build a simple oven probally 2ft square. Would like to try to keep the heat source as simple as possible and still get good results. My thoughts are to buy a counter top gass grill and build a box out of cement backboard that sits on legs right at the top of the grill so I can still adjust the grill temps. Or hit the thrift store for a couple of toaster ovens and wire something up.

Thanks
Chris

Why not get a used oven from an appliance store? I got mine for free and you have all the controls and insulation without having to design something on your own?

Some of the items I wish to PC wont fit in a cooking oven. about 85% would though.

Any links to ones built would be great.

Some people have constructed simple extensions for home ovens that allow the door to remain open for items slightly longer then the oven will accommodate.

Below is a link for a guy that made an ext for his household oven. I did the same before I built my 8" oven, & it cost me about $30.00 & a half hour of work. It does work! Scroll down about 2/3 the way down.
Good Luck
Bob

that box there is 24" deep 40" tall 26" wide the only problem i have had is i got the box cherry red on the back side a few times. there is no fiberglass in it either it is straight metal..

if you adjust the intake tube you can keep the heat to 400/450 no problem. i built it just to do wheels in.. i have had it at 700 for an hour for ceramic but i would not do much of it in there..

i got 3 ovens the biggest being 8'x8'x8' i run 2 200k heaters in it
i got another oven 24'long 18'wide and 8' high i need to run some elemnts in it it will be electric and gas .. the gas will get it to the temp i need then the electric will kick in and keep it there...

well back to powdering i go .. i got part's in the oven as we speak
