add a grounding plate to help you save some powder .. i built my booth out of metal and the over spray collects and i take a plastic scraper and scrap in on to a shet of paper and if it is my personal part i will reuse it if it is a customers part i toss it right in the trash

then blow it out with air 100psi and start all over

i plan on putting a piece of grounded metal flashing on each side of the filter... how big do you think they need to be?

Nice! You happen to have a picture of the back so we can see how the back/vent plate is being used? Thanks!

I was going to vent it outside my shop using a flexible dryer duct and outlet, but i'm going to have to do some work on it because the 4" duct is not large enough to let the amount of air exit the booth. If you look at the picture above, I had to place duct tape around the outer edges of the filter because there was some air turbulance on the outer edges that was actually blowing backwards instead of sucking air through the filter. It does a decent job but I'm thinking now about closing off the exhaust on top and putting a port in the side and attaching my 5hp shop vac to it, I think that will do better. Anyhow, it's great not to have to clean stray powder off everything.

With the filter does it need to be vented (sucked) at all?
