My First PC experience

Hi all,

I am new to powder coating, but reading and soaking up all the information for long time now. Actually Customandsound story (the outhouse) and progress give me encurigement to give it a shot, and try my best. Hat's off to you dude!
Ofcourse, all of you are outstanding bunch who helped me togo so far.

here is my very first powder coated throttle body spacer for my jeep...

Tomorrow I build a powdering box 3X4X4 feet, with a center spinning hanging rack

Looks good It's pretty fun doing this, now you'll start looking all over the house for things you can powder coat. I'm thinking of doing my outdoor house lights (porch, driveway, etc.).

i am glad i can help where i can... look's good

You can build a booth out of the foil board to reclaim you powder the foil will grap the over spary and hold it when you done brush it down with a claen brush and sweep on on a sheet of clean paper then reuse..

my personal part i will reclaim but for the customer the floor is multi color.. then i sweep it in the corner til i toss it in the trash..

Today we are going to building sites to pick up any scrap wood, lumber to build the spraybooth.

Hey, speaking of looking around the house for things to powdercoat, check out my porch light I took down one of my embarassingly awful, weathered, beat up porchlights and powdercoated it gloss white. Here's a pic, along with one of another of the same style that shows what it used to look like.

It looked really bad before doing this, but now it's the nicest part of the house

Let's see, what else can I powdercoat? Hey, the yard faucets! heh heh

Speakink of bathroom sink, I am thinkink to get a kitchen sink and candy coat it and show it to some interior desinger. Since the house and renovation business is blooming maybe a market for that...

Good job, they both look real nice.
You should be able to do a sink as long as its stainless steel or cast iron... I think you guys might be on to something there, just might be a good market.
