Default Upper intake I did SUPER Mirror red.....

Well I was busy today prepping and cleaning this upper intake to hurry up and get it powdercoated. It's off of a 5.0 HO off my stang, I still need to clean up the top plate and do that in a nice color sheme. I did it in a super mirror red, I think it turned out pretty good. I finally got it so my oven get's up to temp easily now, and stays right around where I need it. Anyways, here are the pics.

Yep, and I put insulation on the sides and top. It works good. Thanks Chuck.

Ok will do. One thing I need is some kind of temp gauge that has a little probe end on it. I have one of those infared temp gauges and I put it up to a little crack that is open and shine it down on the part, well the heat coming out melted the head of the temp gauge. Any idea on what temp gauge has a probe on it that I can drill a hole and stick it inside the oven and keep the gauge part outside the oven?

Here's the top plate I did! I went for the brushed aluminum look on top and put red in the engraved letters, the brushed aluminum looks kinda uneven in the pics, but it's awesome in person!
