Default different bases?

has anyone ever tried using a different base color for candy's- I also paint with liquid pain and I have all kinds of different candy base colors- just wondering if it would be worth a try like maybe gold?

Cool Re: different bases?

I have used gold vein and silver vein. The outcome looks great! I think if you use white it will make it brighter but I have not tried that yet. Silver metallic makes the candy colors have a metallic look. Experimenting with different base coats is lots of fun!
