I do some powdercoating in a room that is enclosed but there is a 1 foot gap at the top. There are furnaces in the other room and I know there is gas for the other ovens in the house. I use an electric oven. Can this cause an explosion if powder gets into the other room. I dont know how much goes through the top crack if any?

Any combustible powder, when sufficient quantities are mixed into the air, can easily be ignited by a naked flame. You should treat this environment with extreme caution.
THE MATERIAL IS NOT ONLY FLAMMABLE - IT WILL EXPLODE VIOLENTLY WHEN IGNITED!!!! IT COULD TAKE THE ROOF OFF THE BUILDING AND YOU ALONG WITH IT.

Yes Im closing everything up with plastic. I was not aware of this. The wall I spray toward is away from the furnace but there is still some that must get over it on the right side. Neverthe less Ill close it off. Thanks
