I powder coated my valve covers in reflective chrome and they came out great. I want to do anodized red over them..how much coverage should I put on? What temp should I bake them at? Also do I clear coat over that? What happens if I don't get good coverage on the anodized section first try can I go over it again? Any info is greatly appreciated...Thanks

I always do it in a 2 hand process and at 150 deg. of temp each coat
don't try to cover everything on first hand , if you see a powder less spot leave it or you will over build second hand concentrate on those powder less spots and apply a general coat my way to do it and has never failed me you don't need clear |

I think he means to let it cool to 150 from your cure temp on the Chrome base. Then apply your top coat, and repeat after partial cure of the first top coat.
