Default Glow additive

Has anyone tried glow in the dark additive? I was thinking of trying the additive in super chrome as a base, with a translucent blue topcoat. Will it glow blue? Thought it would look pretty cool on the control arms of my sled. Any input would be appreciated, I'll let you know how it turns out.

It always glows green, regardless of the color of the powder it's mixed with.

I understand it glows green in the powder it's mixed WITH, being the chrome base, but what about the color it glows THROUGH, being the translucent blue topcoat? Also, if you mix it with super chrome, how much will it dull? I'm one of those people that has to check the water temp before he dives in. BRRRR! LOL

It's not recommended to use the additive in the base color, just the topcoat.
