Whats the best stripper for removing the clear coat from factory aluminum wheels?... i really dont wanna sand blast.

try aircraft stripper that you can get at most auto parts stores.

KZjim,

If it's clear coat you can use Aircraft Paint Stripper. If it's anodized you can use EasyOff Oven Cleaner!

You may have to use more that one coat!

i bought the thick stripper that needs to be brushe don and it worked alot better...

BIX You can get it at any home depot. It works good but you have to use a brash wire brush.
