Default second coat....and clear?

Just recieved my hobby gun yesterday(caswell) Tried it out this morning on an old wrench i blasted. Man it works great....beats the heck out of painting. Quick and easy But gota question about a second coat? I've read somewhere on this forum or somewhere else....about applying multiple coats. Do i just need to wet sand then shoot it again? Also does the same apply to putting a clearcoat on? thanks,

Al

baking it the second time won't overcure or burn the first coat? I am new to powder coating myself. The hobby gun that I have doesnt seem to give a good first coat and being able to put a second coat on would be very helpful to me.

It won't over cure it.. but you should be able to get it with one coat. Just takes some practice and really good lighting to see what your doing. I rarely if ever re coat.
IMHO

The only time I shoot a second coat is when it needs it for color reasons... clear... candy... metal flake in clear...etc.
