cleaning
Hi
I am totally new at this powder coating work,so please bear with me. I want to coat come pen part,clips,tips etc,.These are all finished with something,what do I need for preparation prior to coating? Thanks Sid

Re: cleaning
All of the old coating needs to be removed via either sandblasting or chemical stripper. Once the old coating is removed, clean the part down with brake cleaner (acetone) or lacquer thinner. Don't use mineral spirits because it contains some oils.
