Default Color chip sample plates?

Anyone know where I could get some color chip sample panels that I could powder coat for sample products? Thanks...

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and pick up a piece of 26ga or 16 ga sheet metal, when you run a color shoot a sample at the same time.. Keep and eye on the chip as it will cure faster then your part, unless your part is of same size and metal...

Well I got alot of samples to make out and mail out to different people needing color samples for their products. I used some plates already pre-cut into maybe 3"x4" plates that I used in florida but don't remember where I got them.

Here is another way.
Go to the same places and pick up 4X4 electrical cover plates... Nice size and cheap.. Think .50 each... Sand blast to remove galvanizing. Then powder..

Yes sir....not a bad idea. I think, if I recall correctly, we got them from our gun supplier in Florida.

I use Beer- I mean mountain dew cans- their light aluminum so they heat up fast- so you can shoot it and have a sample instantly.

I went to a local Sheet Metal shop...purchased 500 3X4 samples with 1/8" hole in one end for hanging for $50. They are galvanized also, but that is fine because they can lay in the box and be somewhat protected until I am ready to use them.

Call a shop and tell them exactly what you are going to use them for and you are looking for an inexpensive solution.
