Default red candy chrome

someone please tell me thru trial and error how to get that red chrome look for a gixxer frame and swingarm. polish it then powder, powder over super or xtreme chrome, etc. thanks. i want it to look like this pic that was in another post.

Well since this is my display engine I should be the one that tells you
All I did was bead blast the block and head then used Super Chrome powder then the candy red powder... Thats all

You can but the red over silver metallic and when the bright light is on it you can see the metallic through it. Looks cool

Nice motor hvac36. Bad cool

The pics s@ck you can't really see the metallic.

that is sick man. any special prep to shoot over chrome? is there a big difference that you can see from shooting over chrome powder?

As always, just make sure it is clean, clean, clean. Lint can be a PITA, even with "lint-free" towels. And it would show up easily on real chrome finishes.

just give it a little more time. you will be the one people want to replicate also.

Thanks pickleboy. My stuff looks good,I think I'm to hard on myself. If it don't come out the I want it it gets done over.
