Default How'd they do it?

How is something like this done? I have also seen where the fins are one color and the rest of the "jug" is polished. I haven't been able to figure out how it is done...any tips?

Shoot the orange first, cure, shoot the black & wipe around the fins with a slightly damp sponge, cure, clear, cure.

don't be discorage
that's not powder coat
that's sublimation
it's a different process
in simple words
you print out a design with a special ink
apply heat to the print and the ink becomes gas and transfer to the part

I use to do it for sports jerseys.

It appears to be very durable, repairable (errors or scratches can be re- programmed and eliminated) and light years ahead in creativity.

Downside?

The process and equipment is $$$- For now.
