Is the powdercoarting kit you sell capable of doing a large (5 feet long) motorcycle frame? Any examples of the chrome colored powdercoating?
-Thanks,

With enough powder, sure.

No examples yet. If you do it, please send us some pictures.

Default powedercoating a motorcycle

how much powder do you think would be necessary? I amg uessing that the 8 ounce wouldn't be, but how about the five pounds? I can't see it taking more than that.
Thanks,
Mike

I agree. That should be plenty.

DALE will become famous soon enough
Default amount of powder

5 pounds is way too much powder with that gun.If you have other things you want the same color for then buy it, otherwise two 8 ounce containers is enough unless you are wastefull. A motor cycle frame really doesn,t have much surface area, it's mostly empty space.

Default chrome powder

I have some chrome colored powder from three comercial suppliers and they don't look anything like chrome. They look like a polished aluminum wheel color. Also they require a clearcoat for outdoor use.
