I was wondering since ceramic coating cures at 500* for one hour, since my oven goes to 485*, is it just like powder and maybe add say 20 minutes or more cook time and it will fully cure? One other thing...say I ceramic coated an intake manifold, then afterwards I powder coated it. Will the powder adhere to it or separate?

It would be easier to use the chrome base powders. You really need a nice snooth surface for the ceramic/candy to look good.
If you plan to polish the intakes 1st Id say go for it. because you still have to polish the ceramic to a shine 1st befor you use a candy powder. |

If you were to ceramic coat a pair of headers could you then powder over them with any color and not have it burn off?
