Not sure if most of you realize it or not but, you say you have tried so and so etc. THere are only a few Major manufactures of powders. They sell to smaller companys that sell to smaller companys that sell to even smaller companys..
Brian from CC company has you believe he is making the powders he sells, well trust me he is not. He buys from company C that buys it from B who buys it from A.
I have used CC powders and have only been pleased with a very small handful of there powders.
Now Caswell's I know where they buy theres from and I have bought from that company as well when I need 50lb or more. Never been un-happy with any powder I have bought from Caswell's...
Lance, Craig you guys Rock...

I always buy from caswell for that reason hvac. Only time I've bought from other co's is when I need a certain color. (3, I think) Never had a prob with Caswell's stuff (Well, FROM Caswell's stuff!)
Super wet black is awesome! I've done 3 sets of Quad wheels with it, now EVERYBODY wants it!
Keep up the good work Caswell!

I know he doesnt make his own powder. Im just sayin its odd quite a few people have had this problem with the Super Mirror black form CC. I havent had this problem with Tigers Black.

Maybe it was a bad batch of powder

Just sprayed some Super Wet Black for the 1st time today. Amazing!

Looks head and shoulders above the other company's Super Mirror Black I was using. Did the same prep on similar items. This stuff flowed out smooth as glass. I picked up the phone and ordered 10 more lbs. Thanks for turning me on to this stuff guys.

Finally!! I got this part finished to the satisfaction of the owner. Got ticked at it yesterday and took the wire wheel to it. Took the whole thing back down to bare metal. Then sanded it with the DA. Then wiped it down with brake cleaner and hit it one more time with brake cleaner. Let it air dry. Sprayed it flat on the rack with ground hooked directly to the part. Item took powder well but the edges played the faraday effect game. Moved the ground and managed to get one of the trouble spots coated. Turned the air way down and kind of dropped powder from high up upon the last edge. managed to get a pretty good coat.
Took it to the new oven, hooked it and hung it in the oven. Fired it up and ramped it up slow. Got it to 400. Set it for 20 minutes,at 15 I killed the power and let it sit till cooled. Came out great. At last.

I've shot Super Mirror black and haven't had any problems yet.... I think I've gone through 3 or 4 different batches.

Not sure what the problem might be...

I have noticed that high humidity makes the substrate act really goofy though..
