clear on alumn
I'm redoing a 4000 t-pot carb.The body is in 3 pieces and 2 colors.The base is cast alumn.I sandblasted it to bare metal and it cleaned up nice.I cleared it and the color changed to gray which I'm unhappy with.Can I PC a silver over the clear or do I need to try blasting it again?I've cleared over chrome and stainless with good results but over cast alumn or steel changes the color,why?
