Default Durability Question????

Which is more durable/damage resistant nickel plating or powder coating?

would want to say Nickel plating, because it's an electrosis process. But, it all depends on the application. Powder has more electrical resistance, like if it was valve covers and the power wire fromthe alt touches it, nickel will spark, powder will not.

If you do see a spark, I would think you need new wires!
Plating has got to be more durable in terms of hardness. I believe it has more of a bond to the substrate!

Not always, but leaves nice black marks on the nickle/chrome LOL Ask me how I know
