Blast media???
Were can I find large amount of blast media. We just got a big blaster and it uses 350+ LBs of media. I dont want to spend 40 for 50lb of media so if you can help me out.
Also what do you do with old media? Thanks Jordan

Try to find a local media distrubutor. I looked up sandblasting in the yellow pages and found a place. They sell everything in bulk. They were much cheaper then Tractor Supply and places like that. If your in new england the place is called New England Silica and can be found here newenglandsilica.com

We are going to have to do the same thing or build a cabinet. Bags of blast media are getting a bit expensive!
We have tried a BUNCH of different types of media and the best we have used so far is BlastSand from White Caps (a subsidiary of Home Depot). I am drawing up plans now for a custom cabinet so we can recycle the media. Letting it go into the lot along side the shop is a waste! Johnny
