Default Candy Apple problem

Bought a pound of candy apple red and shot a test piece, it came out solid red. looks nice but no candy. am I missing something or did Caswell accidently send us the wrong stuff? the can says candyapple.
My bro and I have been shooting powder for a few months now and I have been reading a lot of posts. Great site! a lot of good info for us beginners.
Caswell has also been great to deal with so I don't want to imply that we're not happy with them, they've been great.

candy apple is not a candy ( translucent ) color
what you are looking for is a candy top coat red
lollipop red or transparent red
nothing wrong with the color you got you simply bought the wrong one .

jtagger is correct. Candy Apple is a solid color. It's listed on the web site under the normal colors. There's a seperate section for the candies.
