Default motor housing

I want to powder the housing to a wiper motor and was thinking (maybe to much) will the heat mess with the magnets at all, they're non-removable so I'd have to leave them in there. Will there be any problems?, don't worry about it?- maybe just do a low temp cure? thanks guys

How are the magnets kept in place? Epoxy? Plastic frame? I think Maybe I'd start by figuring out if there is any material that will melt or be at all compromised. In doing a quick search I found that heat can cause some magnets to break down very rapidly. I'm gonna say it's probably not a good idea. It seems to me that the same principle that tells us not to heat certain alloys to cure temps, also applies to magnets. I imagine realignment of the base structure by heating will diminish the magnetic fields. Maybe someone has first hand experience and can tell us what they found.

I wouldnt do it.

I have had a part take a charge when blowing powder off of it, causing the new powder to not stick. When you reheat the part, even to mild temps, the charge goes away. Same may happen to the magnets?
