Painting over a powder coat
For various reasons I may want to paint over a powder coat. Can that be done? Like if I want to letter a part, or do flames on a larger part, can I prep it like normal paint and paint over it?
May sound strange, but I do have some things I want powder coated, but also want a fancy paint job on like pearlized or flames and scrolls. Also I have some things like computer cases I wonder if they are a powder coat. I want them painted, but don't want to try stripping the whole thing to bare metal. chromo
