Default Powder coated Camo

Here is a Honda plug cover in Camo. It's light grey with black chrome & wet black clear coated. This was my first try at this.

Thanks guys!!

1. I put down a base coat of light gray fully cured.
2. Masked off the areas that i wanted the black chrome using vinyl decal material and green tape to mask the rest of the light gray area I did not want coated.
3. Put back in oven for 3 min then applied the black chrome.
4. Allow cover to cool to about 150 deg then remove the masking then put it back in the oven for full cure
5. Repeat for next color steps 2-4.
6. Remove from oven and apply clear then fully cure clear.

I did not follow any set pattern and this could be used with a combination of any colors. If I do any more I will let a friend that makes vinyl decals cut the vinyl pattern for me.

I took about 3 hrs total but I cut all the shapes by hand.

It's an aluminum cover.
