Good info, thanks guys.

Now to sort out these view holes.

Maybe for the engine I can get a good paint to do the trick. Suggestions?
It Would be alot less work than taking the engine apart.

I just like the duability of powder and how easy it is to CLEAN!

If you decide not to PC the engine, I've heard the PJ1engine paint works pretty well.

I used the PJ1 Fast Black Wrinkle Black on another one of my Harleys about 4 1/2 years ago. As per the directions on the can, I gave the cylinders and heads multiple wet coats to get the wrinkled look. The engine cases, transmission and primary cover got a couple of coats that were allowed to dry before the next coat was applied. Paint still looks good.

Thanks guys!

I think (time wise) I`ll paint the motor and powder the accessories.
Alt, starter, valve covers, etc.

Will I get a good color match?

I checked the frame and found the vin stamp.

As for the masters, I will source out a newer style with a remote resevior.

Thanks for the help.
